The Marketing Assistant will assist in all aspects of Marketing Department operations, including support, development and distribution of marketing materials including social media and our website. This candidate should have strong proofreading abilities, be detail and deadline oriented and a team player, along with being creative. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter who is capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and the implementation of marketing projects. You will need to display versatility in order to handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of marketing and presentation materials
- Creating marketing materials for webinars and events
- Assist with preparation of mailings, and various special projects
- Assist with proof reading of materials
- Assist with general administrative duties including writing and editing correspondences, answering phones, and contact data maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Graphic design experience, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- SEO expertise preferred
- Social Media expertise preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete in timely fashion
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff
