As yoga and Pilates teacher, wellness coach, freelance writer, and mother of two, my yoga mat is where I find solace and serenity, balance and alignment. My children say that my meditation practice has made me a better person. I’m not perfect, but I appreciate and accept my imperfections.
In addition to my RYT500 certification through Sampoorna Yoga School in Goa, India, I hold a RYT200 certification through Charm City Yoga in Baltimore (now YogaWorks). In 2020, I became a Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide and got certified through NOLS in Wilderness First Aid. I have attended an additional 500 hours of training related to health, kinesiology, and anatomy.
As a fresh empty-nester, I live in the woods of rural Baltimore County with my loving husband, a cute rescue dog, and two lazy indoor cats. Both our children are currently studying abroad.
