Joseph Caputo joined BWFA in September of 2012 as the firm’s Chief Information Officer and Sr. Relationship Manager. He has obtained over 15 years of financial and investment management-related experience. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for notable local, regional, and national investment companies such as T. Rowe Price and Wachovia Securities. Throughout his career he has worked closely with small business owners helping to establish company-sponsored retirement plans. His focus has been to foster long-standing relationships and guide clients down a clear path to the future.

As BWFA’s Chief Information Officer, his role is to implement new-age ideas and a sound technological vision. Joe also serves as a member of BWFA’s Executive Management Committee. Joe attended Frostburg State University where he acquired a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science. Joe is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® professional.

Joe has spent most of his life as a Maryland resident and currently lives with his wife and two sons, and his cat, “Sir Whiskers” in the Mt. Washington area. Joe is a member of the Towson Rec Council and coaches his son’s spring baseball team.
