Sophia Pliner
Client Relationship Associate

Sophia joined BWFA in June 2026 as a Client Relationship Associate. Before becoming a full-time team member, Sophia interned with BWFA in the spring of 2026. She graduated from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in May 2025 and completed her Master of Finance in May 2026 through the university’s Plus One program.
Sophia had grown up competitively dancing and was an active member of the Forward Motion Dance Company club team at UMD, where she enjoyed choreographing for the team several times. In her free time, Sophia loves playing pickleball and volleyball, unwinding with TV shows, listening to audiobooks, exploring new countries, and spending time with her dog.
She looks forward to contributing to the team in her new role, while helping the company grow and prosper.
