Senior Financial Planner

Thad Ismart is a Senior Financial Planner with Baltimore Washington Financial Advisors (BWFA). In this role, Thad prepares, presents, and implements comprehensive financial and retirement plans for BWFA’s clients.

Thad is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® professional and a Certified Elder Planning Specialist (CEPS). He holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He prides himself on his fiduciary relationships with BWFA’s clients, and the ability to guide them through a successful retirement using sound and objective advice.

Thad has been in the financial planning and wealth management industry for over 18 years, working for local and national companies, and has been with BWFA since 2013.

Thad enjoys watching and attending baseball and football games, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.

Thad was born and raised in Columbia, Maryland, and currently lives in Timonium, Maryland with his wife, Sara, his two children, Emma and Tommy, and their beagle, Lily.
